The Speed of Light

Did you know that, the fastest thing in the whole universe is the:

Photon

which is the particle making up light waves.

They travel at 186,000 miles per second

Which is 670,616,692 mile per hour – over 670m m.p.h.

i.e. the speed of light.

Hard / well impossible, for the human mind to contemplate.

It probably doesn’t help much if I tell you that – if you had a photon circling the earth above the equator, it would go all the way round and back, 7.5 times in one second.

Now you’ve got it – just mind-blowing!
