A Father’s Wisdom

My dad didn’t have a great education – but had a sharp mind and a lot of street–cred.

There may have been other – ‘words of wisdom’ when I was growing up – but I remember only two of them:

1,   “Never shit on your own doorstep.”

 My interpretation:

If you are going to do something naughty –

do it far from home.

2.                  2.  “Never trust a man who wears white socks with black shoes.”

My interpretation:

No idea why – but I believe it’s true.
